Free does not promise automatic recovery; export a JSON backup manually. Plus and Pro can automatically recover the latest workspace from IndexedDB in the same browser, and Pro adds named local projects. Browser data can still be cleared, so keep a JSON backup for important work.

What's the difference between inner and outer angles?

Inner angle is the smaller angle between two rays, ranging from 0° to 180°. Outer angle is the larger angle, ranging from 180° to 360°. Toggle between them in the Protractor panel under Display Options. This is useful when you need to measure reflex angles or complementary angles.

Your measurements, rays, and uploaded images are handled locally in the browser by default, so normal measuring does not upload that content to our servers. Umami analytics loads automatically and GA4 loads when configured. Existing account and payment records are described in the Privacy Policy.

Only in limited cases. Core measurement needs no account and stays local. If you use an existing Google sign-in, contact support, or previously completed a purchase, we process the minimum information needed for that action.
