Common questions and troubleshooting tips
Select the element by clicking on it in Select mode (V). You'll see it highlighted with a blue outline. Then either press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard, or click the delete button (trash icon) in the right panel. If the delete button is grayed out, the element might be locked - click the lock icon to unlock it first.
